Aleksandra's story

Describe your role

Questions to Aleksandra

  • I started my career path when I was studying. At that time, I had no idea what I wanted to do. Thankfully, I figured things out after gaining a position in an IT-related sector. Totally by a coincidence, when I was looking for a job connected to a team management position I moved to a mobile game development.

And here I am! I  have been working for Vivid Games since 2015.

  • I started my game dev journey as an Associate Producer managing a UI team responsible for creating Real Boxing 2. The company at that stage needed someone experienced in managing people, and the UI team was the biggest one at that point.

Throughout all these years at Vivid Games, I worked in several positions and on different projects but was always close to game production and team management.

I was a Producer of the Real Boxing Brand, creating the Manny Pacquiao title, and maintaining Real Boxing 1. The same happened with Real Boxing 2 - one of the company's brightest and most successful game pearls.

I also had a chance to manage Mayhem Combat production as Product Owner when the title was in a bad situation and needed help with running the Team.

After that, I was the Product Owner of another tile Zombie Blast Crew for a while.

Today I am a Senior Producer developing Real Boxing 2 and working on the creation of RB 3! 💪

  • Privately I’m a mom of one great girl. I live in a small village next to Bydgoszcz, which I love! In 2022 my family moved to a twin house. In large part, the COVID-19 pandemic caused this decision. But happily thanks to the change my husband and I gain more space for remote work and the best environment for our daughter to grow up. One of the best decisions in life!

I am also a big fan of a work-life balance culture as I do some sports in my free time. I like fitness, gym, tennis, swimming and more! When we have an opportunity during winter break we try skiing and snowboarding. No boredom for sure! :)

  • I find game dev as a space where I can cooperate with guys engaged in their roles, taking ownership of their tasks. At the same time, guys are happy to create something they love. Something incredible!

  • I admire the ambition, knowledge, wisdom, and passion for pursuing new technologies and solutions. Everything I can find in VGlians.

  • If you want to develop your skills do not hesitate to ask your team for help. There are various levels and different specializations in the project. Your supervisor is the one who should allow you to grow, but the ball is in your court, no one will tell you what to do with your career, think about your future, and aim to achieve more!
